Doug Edworthy, principal consultant at D. G. Edworthy Associates, has held senior and board-level engineering, marketing and quality management positions since 1985, gaining a wealth of experience in the UK, Mainland Europe, Scandinavia, the Middle East, Hong Kong, and North America.
Since founding D.G.Edworthy Associates in 1994, he has been successfully providing business improvement consultancy to large and small organisations in a wide variety of service and manufacturing business sectors. His abilities and integrity as a consultant have been recognised through his listing as a Registered Consultant on the Chartered Quality Institute's Management Consultants Register (MCQI RC). In addition, he has been assessed and is listed on Business Link Consultants registers, permitting him to work with clients on Business Link aided projects. Doug Edworthy is a trained and
certificated auditor of ISO 9001 quality management, ISO 9000-3 (Tick IT) software quality management, ISO 14001 environmental management systems, and Financial Services Skills Council accreditation schemes. He also holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Computing for Commerce and Industry (PGD CCI(Open)), and the BCS/ISEB Certificates in Information Security Management Principles and in Information Security Risk Management. He is a member of the Chartered Quality Institute (MCQI), the British
Computer Society (MBCS) and the Audio Engineering Society (MAES), and is an Honorary Fellow of the Institute of Sound and Communications Engineers (Hon.FInstSCE). He is Past President of the Council of the ISCE having held the positions of Chair of the Steering Committee 1990-1996 and President 1996-2000.
